Beaches

We are trying to compile as many pictures of the different beaches around the isles...although we've visited a lot, we don't always take a camera.

haleiwa trench beach

This is a little cove at Haleiwa. The girls like it because there a very few waves, and the ones that are there are very small.

We enter the water here a lot to go diving...Haleiwa trench (100' plus depth) is about 50 yards off shore.

dumb facts:

Most of the beaches here have powdery white sand and crystal clear water. There are turtles, dolphins and whales visible from the beaches most of the time.

The weather report below is for Haleiwa (you see Haleiwa at the beginning of Gilligans Island...it's the harbor that they left from). We live about 8 miles from there.

above is the entry to one of the lagoons at Ko-Olina Resort.
